You'll need to create a GitHub account and generate a personal access token by following these steps:
Go to your GitHub Settings -> Developer settings -> Personal access tokens. Generate a new token with at least the public_repo scope.

- Download the project and run npm install or yarn install to install dependencies
- create a .env file and add the following to the file REACT_APP_API_TOKEN='add your token here' REACT_APP_API_BASEURL=https://api.github.com
- npm start or yarn start
