I've just finished moving http://www.tdwg.org/standards/640/ to this repo. The @abcd team should review this.

To be approved/answered:

Once I have an answer for the above, I'll create a release of the standard, and work on it can continue here in this repo and issue tracker.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for moving ABCDDNA to github. Below are the answers to your questions:

  1. I prefer abcddna
  2. ok
  3. pdf is preferred
  4. need to think about it. ABCDDNA has never been a standard in a sense of being ratified by TDWG and will be substituted by the GGBN Data Standard.

Fixed first 3 items. For preferred citation, let's wait for tdwg/infrastructure#32.

Are there plans to already work on the README or document?

This is the preferred citation that I added. I used the date as the version number and task group as the author (which follows the standard citation format we chose). Individual authors would be even beter. @gdadade can you let me know if this is OK:

Access to Biological Collections Data task group. 2010. DNA extension for Access to Biological Collection Data (ABCDDNA), Version 2010-09-01. Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG) http://www.tdwg.org/standards/640

I'll then create a release.

Hi @tdwg/abcd can you let me know if this citation is OK for ABCDDNA? It's the only thing stopping me from finishing the migration to GitHub.

@tdwg/abcd @gdadade can you verify the citation is OK (for now), so I can create a version? Thanks.
