Are you running a 64bit CPU? If so take a look at your link. |
Oops... sorry not to have been curious ... |
Hey everyone, I realize this issue has been closed, but I thought I would add some additional information that I've discovered. It appears that all mainline builds since v4.20.1 are failing. This includes the 5.0rc builds. I've taken a look at the build logs at it appears to be related to the build process attempting to build the proprietary nvidia kernel modules. I've opened up a bug report here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1811721 Please go to that bug report and mark it as affecting you so that Canonical prioritizes fixes the build issue for mainline kernels. Until they fix the issue, we'll be stuck with v4.20 which is the last mainline kernel that build successfully. Thanks! |
Why this thread has been closed? The issue is still present. |
@antonio-petricca because it is NOT a ukuu issue. |
Issue solved with kernel 4.20.3. |
Once again @antonio-petricca THIS IS NOT A UKUU ISSUE! The kernel build failed on Ubuntu's side so you could have tried to resolve that on launchpad but not here. |
Once again: I understood what you said, but I think it is the right thing to inform UKUU users that now they can use it with 4.20 too. Regards. |
The latest 4.20.1 is not listed in the list of available kernels while it is in Ubuntu Mainline.
