Linux Support? #4
Comments
Currently I'm working on client for Linux. But it's still long way to go. |
I am going to build OS X version first, then maybe Linux. I hope it will be easier after OS X. |
So, we end up having various clients for each platform? I guess it's a good thing. |
Well, I thing that it's better to have a common official client for every platform. And could be this. Greetings. |
Where is instruction for build app for OS X? I'm not see it on README all another places. |
OS X version from tdesktop.com site is from third-party developers, having nothing common with this client application. I will try to build OS X version of this software soon, and then it will be written in README. |
How I can connect with developers? Which source was used under OS X? Can you provide any info about it? |
As I know, source code of OS X app is not opened. I am afraid you can contact them only through HockeyApp feedback: https://rink.hockeyapp.net/apps/c55f5e74ae5d0ad254df29f71a1b5f0e/feedback/new |
https://github.com/sialan-labs/sigram this is a telegram client for Linux, written in Qt. It uses the telegram-cli code |
So, Linux version is now there, but yet not fully bug-free.. |

tdesktop is going to support Linux? (At least Ubuntu). Many people are expecting to see a Telegram App for Linux which is not a console.
Greetings.
