Feature Request: Make scalars pinnable within code

It would be nice to be able to pin certain metrics to the top within the code. When the web view is opened, these metrics are supposed to be pinned by default.

This does sound like a potentially helpful feature, however, it is unlikely we will be able to prioritize this soon. Fortunately we do have a couple features which may help.
The tagFilter query param allows you to programmatically filter down the cards shown.
The recently global pins feature will attempt to pin any cards which where previously pinned.
