v0.4-rc1 Pre-release
Pre-release

Usage

See the main page for instructions.

This is a release candidate, still having an issue where the driver configuration can not be read from the EFI variable.

Use v0.3 instead, if you have this issue.

You need to update the motherboard firmware (UEFI image), to add NvStrapsReBar.ffs to the image, and re-flash your motherboard. Enable ReBAR in UEFI Setup if you have it, or enable Above 4G Decoding and disable CSM. Use NvStrapsReBar.exe to select and save the new BAR size.

Warning

  • Disable NvStrapsReBar before making hardware changes like adding a second GPU.
  • NvStrapsReBar will be disabled if you make changes in UEFI Setup. Re-enable it afterwards.

You will also need the NVIDIA Profile Inspector, because the NVIDIA game profiles for specific titles have precedence over the global GPU BAR size. Only download the Profile Inspector from github (or use the link provided here).

Warning

  • Disable NvStrapsReBar before making changes in UEFI Setup, and before making hardware changes like adding a second GPU.

If you accidentally disable the settings in UEFI Setup, but enable ReBAR using NvStrapsReBar.exe, you may need to clear CMOS.

You will also need the NVIDIA Profile Inspector, to update the BAR size set by NVIDIA for specific titles.
