Welcome to the FluEgg_USGS wiki!

The FluEgg model was created by University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in collaboration with the USGS. Later it was substantially modified by the USGS.

Changes in FluEgg developed by USGS:

  • Added Grass Carp
  • Allow eggs develop until gass blader inflation stage, after hatching, larvae drift as passive particles
  • Developed a tool to import input data from HEC-RAS using the HEC-RAS controller
  • Added a new tool to export results to google Earth

Changes in FluEgg developed by USGS and University SUNNY, Bufalo

  • Added inverse modeling: This tool allows user to back-calculate spawning grounds. Journal article in progress by Zhu Z., Soong S., Garcia T. (2017)
