true. this is a really low priority issue though because shadowlings have the ability Regenerate Chitin to counter this problem

Could you just call regenerate chitin for them right after the hatch is done?

checked latest build. you are not stunned in chrysalis. being able to wear normal clothes as a shadowling provides an advantage so this is an exploit. Regenerate Chitin should probably be replaced by actual bugfixes

Bizarre. I introduced Regenerate Chitin in case a shadowling somehow lost their clothing, not as a workaround for this. It should be easy enough to fix.
