I'm finally at my PC now I can whine about it here >:3

A) I'll personally look into the mime/clown 'fandom' hud thing for these, it'd be fun
B) [more for other coders reading this] how logical would it be for them to all be radial-reskins of the main Pride pin? cut back on too many items in the vendor

wouldn't it be better for them to be race pride, like plasmaman, ethereals, lizards etc. or at least add them too

I second Ghilkers suggestion. Race pride pins would make more in-lore sense than these. It's 2556. You would think that people would be past caring about sexuality. We have aliens now.

But if you really insist on this sort of thing. You might as well add all of them for inclusivity. So nobody is left out. You'd be missing Heterosexual, Lesbian, Demisexual, Agender, Genderfluid, Genderqueer, Aromantic, Polyamorous, etc pins.

Pride is not cool. It's a sin that should be punished and banished, absolutely haram. I will personally declare jihad on any twink who dares to wear that sinful imagery in public.

The autodrobe list is getting really, really long.

This should really by one type of pin that can be reskinned, or someone needs to code vendor tabs soon.

There's various different numbers of stripes, so by the time you have a separate sprite for each single pixel row you might as well have had the original sprites

Too bad I couldn't make an actual comment regarding this PR (but could, in fact, point out a very funny bias when it wasn't comment-locked) when it wasn't forced and then moved upstream but oh well.

You'd think ~26th century people would stop caring about sexualities and move to some ordinary and frequent things, like xenospecies (or even corporations - who knows?), as someone above pointed out; and, really, I'd say this feels like stuffing ongoing IRL events into the game. And I prefer keeping my games completely neutral off this political mess.

Sprites look nice, although yeah, should make use of GAGs.

Also to reduce bloat on Auto-robe i'd have thought that in the future you'd have "digital" pins that would allow you to change whatever is on a pin whenever.

autodrobe has the GAGS paint button next to colourable items, maybe something like that?

Add race pins and just make it one pin that's alt-clickable, imo, or have it customizable in the autodrobe

Love this change but it should probbably be one reskinnable pin rather than a bunch of individual entries.

I like the idea, but the worn sprites just seem a bit oversized. Personally, I think they'd look better as flag lapel pins rather than giant plastic buttons.

Pins are now reskinnable, and there's only one in the autodrobe.

    BCI implanters no longer drop their BCI on the floor when opened (#63204)

    Exactly what it says in the title. Implanters used to drop the BCI they contained when opened up. Now they don't. For good measure I made them drop their contained BCIs when deconstructed as well in case they already did that as a consequence of the BCI being located inside the implanter, which was the cause of the issue in the first place.

    Removes the line "and the Radiation Scanner mode lets you see objects contaminated by radiation" from the scanner goggle description.

    Scanner goggles can no longer detect radiation as of 0f3c4e51f720d349078e610bcadcfbaef5c93de3, the old examine text was misleading.

    Makes the edible component not runtime due to connect_loc_behalf when applied to turfs (#63232)

    This makes it so it stops trying to use connect_loc_behalf if the parent of the edible component is a turf, just registering the signal normally instead, which should hopefully be the same functionality.

    Runtimes are bad, and even if there's not really any relevant use of that proc in most cases, this is to future-proof things anyway.

    Wethide now dries into leather after burning and grilling (#63198)

    You can now dry wet hide (obtainable by skinning and wetting goliath plates or other animal hides) into leather by lighting it on fire (with a bonfire grill especially, though the heat of being on fire will dry it regardless of the origin of the fire)

    This also means that ashwalkers will be able to obtain leather without getting power, since drying racks require power, which, as shown in #63195, is apparenly intended and not a bug.

    You can now run over the plushie with the tram, splatting it into the ground

    Non-joke reason: The tram now sends a signal to the destination turf, which can be used by objects to have unique interactions with the tram when being ran over.

    Fix AI eye not being recreated if it was qdel'd, but not nulled (#63131)

    As an error recovery point, if the eye somehow gets qdel'd, it is recreated when you try to move to the core.

    However, this error recovery doesn't work if the AI eye is qdel'd without being nulled, as create_eye() checks if eyeobj exists (NOT if it's qdel'd).

    Of course the real bug is in whatever is qdel'ing the eye, but considering this is an existing error recovery system, it should still work!

    I got tired of having to walk new admin candidates through the admin buttons and telling them about all of the antiquated buttons they'd never use, so I'm doing my part and removing a bunch of the transformation bloat from the player panel. Below is the current menu
    The only button admins I know ever actually use is the human rudimentary transformation one, and literally nothing else. Judging by how the options are a random choice of some of the station pets, these options probably haven't been updated since like 2012. In addition, the non-rudimentary transformations only work if you're a human, so not sure why they show up for non human player panels.
    Here's the new pared down selection, I figured these would be the only useful ones from the bunch. They work no matter what mob the target was previously, whether it be another living mob or a ghost. In addition, I also cut out the transformation equivalents from the VV dropdown, because lord knows that menu keeps getting longer and longer. Lastly, I refactored stuff where possible without getting too trapped in cursed pre-MSO era admincode.

    Why It's Good For The Game

    HoP already has a TON of access for what their job is about, managing job changes and service/cargo. There's no reason why they would need such things as access to mechs, science, medical, ect. But for now, I just want to focus on removing Security Office:

    HoP, on all maps, has a gun recharger in their office, and they will still remain access to departmental offices, so security office access is irrelevant for charging their gun. I personally don't think that HoP, a non-sec role, should have aceess to security lockers. They are a Service/Cargo job, they shouldn't have access to just walk in and take SecHUDs.

    If HoP really needs access to security office, they can give themselves the access, but thanks to ID trimming, that cost isn't free anymore. Though it technically is, because they only need to give themselves 1 access edit, which isn't gonna affect a Silver ID, so I personally think they should have more access removed but that's not the point right now.

    A circuit and shell components have been added to Synthesizers (headphones and spacepods included, though with a reduced capacity because of their size), so they can now be used for wiremod. Just like for instant cameras, no shell design here. They are meant to be found in dorms or maybe ordered from cargo.
    Why It's Good For The Game

    The station outside the sci department has plenty of USB ports stuff but is lacking when it comes to circuits shell. This is another small step toward a better and more applicable wiremod.

    About The Pull Request

    Proto nitrate BZ response with less than 30 moles of BZ will now produce nitrogen, helium, and plasma. Tritium combustion, proto nitrate BZ response (BZ under 30 moles), and proto nitrate tritium response will now irradiate once again. Atmospheric reactions that release radiation will be able to release radiation, even if they're in a pipenet or any gasmixture.

    The reaction rates for BZ and tritium response has changed, and is the product of their over the sum of their moles. Proto_nitrate is weighted more in tritium response, but the optimal composition for fastest reaction is not the same as their consumption rates.
    Why It's Good For The Game

    Proto nitrate is an uncommonly used gas. This PR removes one of the restrictions of the reaction, and allows an alternative way to produce helium. Just deleting BZ is useless and weird. Radiation emission from some gas reactions is added back because they weren't meant to be removed.

    About The Pull Request

    Now that radiation waves are gone, the SM isn't capable of generating Pluox, actually the only way to generate Pluoxium is with a reaction mix of O2/Plasma/Tritium at low pressure, something that I assume most of the Atmos players don't even know about as the SM was the main and efficient way to generate Pluox.

    The change also removed Pluox as an annoying waste gas on the SM, not the biggest of nerfs but...

    So I copied the way the SM reacts with Miasma to generate extra power (bet most people don't know about this either.) for parity on how the SM only reactions work, but with a few changes to work better with a high power charged CO2 SM compared to a Miasma one.

    The main change compared to the Miasma reaction is that it scales less with power and more with pressure, a High pressure and low power CO2+O2 SM should be the most efficient/safe way to make Pluox, a different kind of challenge to the low pressure high power CO2 SMs we have already.

    Also, the amount of Pluox generated might need tweaks, but it is nothing compared to the production of old Radiation charged SMs.
    Why It's Good For The Game

    Custom radio emotes are currently logged very poorly on live. This adds enhanced logging for both custom radio emotes and custom radio emotes that accompany messages.

    Tanks can be overpressurized due to insane temperature/heat_capacity deltas or reactions happening inside it. All of this can occur inside cans. If they explode players wont notice it bluescreening, which happens most of the time due to the can dying. If they don't explode players do, this is one such case.

    Limits the game announcers only to arrays in a fixed whitelist.

    Discord announcements, as they're more for those interested in the technical side, are on a blacklist of patterns. This is set to blacklist anything starting with event-*.

    This stops a lot of internal repos from clogging chat, but more importantly is going to be used as events will now be hosted on the tgstation organization, and we want to limit spoilers/confusion on that for people who don't go looking for it.

    I spent a bit of time working with pAIs doing this, so I've changed and fixed other things in the process.

        Door jacking had little to no UI feedback
        Many of the pAI actions had little feedback
        Some of the logic was poor or not working (pAI request, for instance)

    Why It's Good For The Game

        One of the worst UIs in the game is redone
        Three interfaces are now two: pAI cards and recruit window -> 1 tgui window, pAI software interface -> tgui
        Door jacking gives more feedback, including sounds and messages.
        New procs inside general and security records to fetch data
        Requesting a pAI now uses the notify_ghosts proc like most other ghost roles

    About The Pull Request

    There was no check to see if there was a ceiling above the elevator, so you could always go up if you wanted to, you just couldn't go down.

    There was also an issue where if the menu was opened and any change was made either up or down, it wouldn't be taken into account by the lift and it would do it anyway. That means that the top level could become unsuitable by someone blocking it off and the elevator wouldn't care.

    Finally, should fix the issue where the radial menu doesn't update when the lift move, causing you to be able to make illegal moves because there was no sanity checks. Now there is some sanity checks, and the menu will additionally close if the elevator has moved since you opened it. Just click on it again to open it once more.

    I also ended up documenting some of the code there while I was there, and improved a few variable names because they didn't follow coding standards.
    Why It's Good For The Game

    Going through floors and ceilings was in general a pretty bad thing about elevators. Now it shouldn't happen anymore.
