Semkis and Pistachios! Come get your snacks + Snack Items Name Fixes #64276
Conversation
Did you know that "semki" is a derogative of "semechki", which is a diminutive of "semena", which is a plural of "seme", which is cognate with "semen"? |
We don't really call them "Semkis" in the Anglosphere. We just call them salted sunflower seeds etc. Still, always happy to see more uses for the drying rack. On an unrelated note, is there a particular reason you renamed all the snacks in the snack vendor to "improper"? |
I've been taught proper english by coders and i applied it to the vending
machine.
Also it's called semki because it what it was as trash only so i moved
onwards with it.

Why are you like this |
Your Fix/Feature pull request is currently below zero (-1). Maintainers may close future Feature/Balance PRs. Fixing issues or helping to improve the codebase will raise this score. |
Despite how it may look, this isn't a port of /tg/'s sunflower seeds and pisachos(tgstation/tgstation#64276).
About The Pull Request
Adds Semkis (roasted sunflower seed) and pistachios as actual food to the snack vendor. Also makes sunflowers dryable to make homemade version of semkis.
Also fixes the names of some stuff in snacks that should use \improper.
Why It's Good For The Game
Its nice to give actual life to some of the food items in game that only exists as trash. Also roasted sunflowers and pistachios are cool.
Changelog
🆑
expansion: Adds Semki's and Pistachios to the Snack Vendor. Also you can now dry sunflowers to make your own roasted sunflower seeds!
spellcheck: Improper snack names has been made to use \improper.
