What is the performance penalty on iOS and Android for going full blast on multiple outgoing and incoming connections? #336

We need to measure what is the performance penalty if we push as much data as possible over multiple connections either outgoing or incoming (the distinction obviously being more relevant on Android than iOS). This will help us figure out how many replications we should attempt at a time. This is a perf optimization and so a lower priority issue.
