Dumping Sounds

From the main window, select the "Sounds" tab. Locate the sound you want to dump in the table. Note that the sound you want to dump must be an internal sound or a sequence. External sounds only store metadata in the BCSAR. Their actual data is stored somewhere else in the ROM.

Once you've located the internal sound or sequence you want to dump, right click on it and hover over "Dump". Click on CWAV to dump to CWAV. Click on WAV to dump to WAV. To dump to WAV, you must setup a CWAV to WAV conversion command. See setup for more details.

Dumping All Sounds in a Set

From the main window, select the "Sound Sets" tab. Locate the set that contains the sounds you want to dump. Note that the set must have an archive associated with it. You cannot dump sounds from a sound set if it has no entry in the "Archive" column.

Right click on the set and hover over "Extract". Click "To CWAV" to dump all sounds as CWAVs. Use "To WAV" to dump all sounds as WAVs. To dump to WAV, you must setup a CWAV to WAV conversion command. See setup for more details. Once you've selected a format, select a destination directory.

Dump to CWSD, CBNK, CWAR, or CGRP

The process for dumping to these formats is roughly the same. Select the tab for the format you want to dump. For CWSD, select "Sound Sets". For CBNK, select "Banks". For "CWAR", select "Archives". For CGRP, select "Groups".

Next, locate the entry you want to dump in the table. Right click on it and select "Dump". Next, select a destination.
