  • Cody's Lab - Cody's lab is about a guy doing whatever he finds interesting, most of it includes cool science experiments.
  • EEVblog - A channel about an Electrical Engineer who wants to help anyone interested.
  • It's Okay To Be Smart - Hosted by Joe Hanson, Ph.D., covering a large variety of intriguing scientific topics, mostly related to the life sciences.
  • Kurzgesagt - A very well known Youtube channel, covers some speculative science.
  • SciShow - This channel is really great, its topics spread across science and you always learn something new that you didn't expect from it.
  • TED-Ed - Covers more than just science, take a look and see what you would like to learn!
  • The Thought Emporium - This guy covers everything from Biology to Physics.
  • Thoughty2 - A YouTuber who covers a wide variety of topics ranging from weird to interesting.
  • Veritasium - Anything science related he finds interesting!
  • Vsauce, Vsauce2 and Vsauce3 - Three YouTube channels, hosted by three different YouTubers, covering a broad range of topic from philosophy to maths to science fiction. Hosted by Michael Stevens, Kevin Lieber, and Jake Roper.

Physical Science:mountain:

Physical Science is a term for the branches of Natural Science that study systems that are not alive. Despite these systems not being alive, it does consist of biological topics.

Physics:satellite:

The study of how the Universe behaves, and is considered one of the oldest sciences. Also the study of matter, energy, and force, are some of the main topics.

  • A Brief History of Time - One of the most sold books on Physics, written by the greatest mind of the 20th century, Late. Prof. Stepehn Hawking, this book is an absolute must read, from a physics lover, to a person who gets bored with science. This book takes an approach to Physics that is unparalleled and truly, legendary.

  • MinutePhysics - A channel about physics where the Youtuber explains by drawing. Ironically, his videos are over a minute.

Chemistry:test_tube:

The study of matter and the changes it undergoes, more specialized than Physics as it focuses on composition, reactions, structure, and the properties of matter.

  • The Disappearing Spoon - Sam Kean has written arguably the best book in Analytical Chemistry, which is a highly enjoyable read and promises to explain concepts from chemistry with ease through examples from various events written in world history.

  • NileRed - This guy is the cornerstone of Chemistry on Youtube, really worth a watch if you're into the topics he covers!
  • Periodic Videos - Hosted by a highly experienced professor in the field of chemistry, Sir Martyn Poliakoff. He makes excellent videos about all things chemistry, including individual videos about each and every element!

Earth Science:earth_americas:

Also known as Geoscience, this is just an all encompassing term for sciences related to Earth. Topics here include Geology, Oceanography, and Meteorology.

  • PBS Space Time - PBS always makes great content, and this channel is no exception to that rule. A great place to learn about this topic.
  • Scott Manley - A really cool channel about a software developer who works with a lot of physical science - mainly stuff surrounding Astronomy.

Life Science, commonly known as Biology, is the science of life and living organisms. This also includes their structures, processes, interactions, mechanisms, development, and evolution.

  • The Sixth Extinction - Elizabeth Kolbert writes a massive, revolutionary boom on the effect of humans and their actions on ecology, calling the current ecological situation "The Sixth Extinction".
  • The Silent Spring - Rachel Carson wrote this book as three excerpts originally in 1962, a cry to protect and preserve our ecosystem. A great read to understand human impact on the ecosystem in the 20th century.
