If you mean code-wise (apart from the description I gave above), unfortunately not. |
Not necessarily code wise. I was more referring to how the implementation should look/feel. |
Check out the playlist adding interface on Youtify (in the left sidebar). It’s not perfect, but a good start to make adding channels easier. |

Fixes issue thedjpetersen#123 and adds a button under the channel list for easily inputing a channel name and pressing enter. This should make it more easy for new users to IRC, joining channels. Someone with a better feel for UI may want to look at how to make this prettier and even simpler.

There should be a simple input field and + as the last entry of the channel list, so you can join a new channel (and also get started when you freshly start with Subway) without knowing the /join command.
