Short python function to cut X characters off the beginning, end, or both of any phytab format file.
invoke by using snipSnap(X,Z) and follow the tkinter prompts. X = number of Characters to trim off front of the sequence Y = number of Characters to trim off the end of the sequenece (counting backwards from the last character).
