Hi,

just a suggestion. I had some missunderstandings with my colleagues who 
couldn't pin-point what I was referring to with "Opacity".

Opacity, as in transfer function?

Exactly,  I did a complete replace all on opacity.
It seems consistent with my understanding of what it affects and how it is 
used, namely the accumulation of optical thickness, e.g. extinction SigmaT.
