The add instance option in settings let's you write stuff in their but doesn't save it. Also, what is it even meant to do?

Oops, the change default instance was left there accidentally - it's supposed to change the default instance that you connect to if you are not logged in

I'll close this issue as this feature is disabled in the 0.2.0-alpha release. It might come back in the future, but for now it'll be hidden from view
