StatsNBA - A web app for NBA fans to analyze their favorite players using up-to-date stats visualization. Users can simply search and view all active players in the league. Other than some basic information of the selected player, a detailed shot chart will also be displayed based on user's preferences.
Features include:
- Autocomplete search bar that provides a suggestion list of players with both name and image
- Two customized plot options(hexbin plot & scatter plot) for shot charts visualization
- Slide bar that can set chart filters based on player's number of Field Goal Attempts
- Mouseover tooltip that can display Field Goal Percentage on each hovered spot
