iRail PSGI backend

This is a (re)implementation of the iRail API running on http://api.irail.be description of this API can be found on http://project.irail.be/wiki/APIv1

Installation

install App::cpanminus using your cpan shell or curl

% sudo cpan install App::cpanminus
# or
% curl -L http://cpanmin.us | sudo perl - --self-upgrade

install dependencies for iRail PSGI backend

% cpanm -S Plack Starman Test::Most Date::Format JSON::XS XML::Twig XML::Simple

Warning

the logging code has a dependency on Apache2::* do not install these by hand, rather install mod_perl2 using your dist packages.

% yum install mod_perl
% pacman -S mod_perl
# <add yours here>

Running

start the PSGI with a server of your chosing

% plackup -I lib app.psgi
# -or-
% starman -I lib app.psgi

point your browser to the API urls

• http://localhost:5000/stations/

• http://localhost:5000/connections/?from=brussel noord&to=oostende

• http://localhost:5000/liveboard/?station=brussel noord

Patching

start the server with -r flag

% plackup -r -I lib app.psgi

alter some code in lib, using warn as debugger
