Trigger Flowcard #1
Comments
Hi, With commit 1cddce0 I added the capability of getting a trigger when the lamp is turned on physically. I did not incorporate a getOnline yet. Reason lies in the way Z-wave is communicating. Hopefully this satisfies your need still. Kind regards, |
Hi Tim, that is great. As soon ad I am home I am give it a try ( now 2 days in France). I understand you do not need the money, but that doesn’t mean it is well deserved! A way of saying thank you :-),
Keep you posted, regards

The lamp broadcasts once to let the Z-wave network know it's turned on.
Yet it will not communicate when the lamp is turned off due to no power.
Hopefully this satisfies your need still.
The money though I don't need but thanks again.
Kind regards,
Tim

Hi Hedzer, Question, is the issue solved at your side? Kind regards, |
Hi Tim,
sorry I didn’t respond earlier. I tried a few things but didn’t get a satisfying result. I postponed the thorough testing due to other priorities. But I have picked it up again.
So regarding the technical aspect:
I imagine it takes in average half of the polling time in the Z-wave network to realise the power has shot off. So switching on the bulb is only sending the signal in case the polling has taking place in the off-status. Now I cannot set the polling time myself and I don’t know how long it is. But Switching the bulb of and waiting a few minutes and then switching it on, does not trigger the ‘lamp is manueel aangezet’ flowchart.
I have now waited over 2 hours and switched the lights on manual, but the trigger did not fire.
Do I do something wrong ? How do you retrieve the signal that the lamp was switched on with the power switch ?
Sorry, I know you do everything in your spare time, I appreciate that a lot
kind regards Hedzer

Hi Tim,
still using this app/domitech lamps with pleasure. Now when I am extending my Homey network I was looking for a trigger that the toilet light is switched on so I can start through Homey the ventilation. As I have no blue wire there are only limited zwave switches that would send this signal to Homey. Then I realised it would be much easier and (cheaper) to install a domitech light. (~35 euros vs 60 euros). Would it be possible to extend the app with a flowcard "came on-line" as normally the light will not be connected to Homey (light is of in toilet, so no power), but when light switches on, the lamp is powered, so will start connecting to Homey. and sets the "online" property to "true".
Let me know if this in your thoughts is possible. I donate you the difference between the switch and the light trigger for the first implementation I can make :-)
Kind regards Hedzer
