What will happen once a page is captured:

  • The html page is bundled with associated images/css (js?) files into a tarball.
  • The tarball is encrypted using AES with a randomly generated key.
  • The encrypted tarball is optionally signed with a social protocol identity.
  • The metadata associated with the page (version, url, encryption key, SHA, asset manifest, etc) are pushed to the DHT.
  • The encrypted tarball is pushed to the P2P network.
