tmate crash or Error reading from channel: Socket error: disconnected #126

hi,
here the crash log for /var/crash/_usr_bin_tmate.0.crash on ubuntu "Linux puppet 3.19.0-25-generic #26~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 24 21:16:20 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux"
i try to install also the tmate-nightly and it's the same

i follow the procedure on ubuntu
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common &&
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tmate.io/archive &&
sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get install tmate
or try sudo apt-get install tmate-nightly

_usr_bin_tmate.0.crash.Log

root@puppet:~# dmesg | grep tmate

Same error here. Using installation in ubuntu 16.04.

hi,
in my .profile i have commented #export {http_proxy,https_proxy,ftp_proxy}="http://proxy:8080"
now tmate is connecting to tmate.io

It happens to me without any proxi variables

This is most likely fixed in newer version of tmate. Try 2.3.0+.
