Post builds as files to Downloads instead of committing huge blobs to the repo #4

Thanks. That's the plan. We loaded everything into Github in a hurry and will be moving all the builds to Downloads soon. |
Great, glad to hear it. :) On Dec 9, 2012, at 1:04 PM, mikekuniavsky notifications@github.com wrote:

FYI, the Downloads tab is going away: https://github.com/blog/1302-goodbye-uploads |
Ha. Well it's a good thing we decided to host our own binaries. If you go to blink1.thingm.com, they all point to the blink1 downloads directory on thingm.com |
Yup, all builds are now being posted in http://thingm.com/blink1/downloads/ |
@todbot: http://thingm.com/blink1/downloads/ does not have a build for 0.9.6 on Windows yet. I assume this is being done manually at the moment? Would greatly appreciate automatic builds (or at least regular builds). |
New version just released! Can read about it here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thingm/blink1-the-usb-rgb-led/posts/394656 |
Excellent. Excited for 0.9.7 👍 |
Github provides hosting for builds and binaries in the Downloads tab. If you put all the .zip files there, it will be millions of times* faster to check out the main git repo.
