Maybe no need to write our own. I have never used any in Java world. In .NET world quite a few, performance varies a lot. So better keep that in mind when picking one.

Does it makes sense to use any? I only used them for like faking data in an easy way or to make a specific service configurable. I don't really see any of these usecases really benefiting the game.
