Use space as in google reader #42
Comments
I'm just watching this thread, thank you for your interest in this idea. |
Well I will see because it's not that easy to implement, but I agree that's very convenient to use in Google Reader |
Not as a fix but a temporary alternative, you can add in the shortcuts some for simple scrolling. When I tryed on your demo site (with firefox nightly), up and down arrow didn't worked. |
I just try on http://tontof.net/feed/?view=expanded |
I may be a bit extremist but "have to click" on a keyboard driven workflow doesn't suit me that much. For me it's the same pain than flash elements in a web page. You already use j and k, n and p, arrows... hard to find other intuitive key bindings. |
No I agree, I did not have the problem as 'n' works without getting the focus on list items. I will check to add this (the focus on list of items in order not to have to click) |
thank you, I suppose long articles on netbooks screens will be easier to read then. |
I've just had the focus so now, it should be possible to use up and down arrows without a mouse click :-) |
As it will not be implement for now I just close it and add it in 'TODO' list #97 to focus on important issue |
space key is used to open an item and to scroll down
