Is there any chance to release the exact steps used to train the local solar system on UBC?

Unfortunately there is no intention on releasing the training code for the local descriptor counterpart of SOLAR. However, you can check out one of our other works, HyNet (https://github.com/yuruntian/HyNet) which should include the same training procedures and more options.
