Micropub Support

W3C is reaching the final stages for Micropub, https://www.w3.org/TR/micropub/
Its a simple generic API for post creation, so ideally people could use any micropub client to post to their mastodon account.

For what it’s worth, the status creation API endpoint has some overlap with form-encoded micropub post creation already

Aliasing content with status would let the exact same request work for both APIs. Accepting URLs in an aliased in-reply-to parameter and replies would work the same too.
