Trying to install Magisk 17.0 or 17.1 from TWRP fails because of failed zip signature verification.
Magisk 16.7 did install correctly.

Please refer to Topjohnwu's Twitter thread at https://twitter.com/topjohnwu/status/1035912594446594049 and close this if its enough.

I don't think it is relevant: trying to install 17.0 or 17.1 in TWRP fails the signature check, so they are not installed at all.
This happens both with Magisk 16.7 installed, and if Magisk is not installed.

Did you unchecked signature verification in TWRP settings?

Are you serious ?
I am reporting that Magisk 17 fails the zip signature verification; if I wanted to disable it I would not have reported the issue in the first place.

I said that because TWRP only check whether it is signed by the test key and topjohnwu use his own private key (refer to #531)

Thanks, this explains it and makes sense.

Since it was working up to 16.7, maybe it could be added to the change log ?
