Does this package works if the app is closed or gets suspended by the OS? #4

I was wondering if this package works even when the app gets suspended by the OS.
I know that Android (and IOS) will suspend an app that's in the background if it needs more resources; what happens with this plugin in that case? And, will the geofence prevail?
