The current attestation format assumes a brew:... purl, which isn't actually standard or documented anywhere yet.

One would need to be added here: https://github.com/package-url/purl-spec

This isn't a strict blocker however; we could always choose to use a non-purl format for the subject.name for the initial attestation version.
