Title says it all really. Since updating it stoped working. Still works through all my Samsung gear.

Are you using the "Scrobble - MyPlex users" or "Scrobble - Client names" options? (these are optional)

I can only reproduce this if I've set the "Scrobble - MyPlex users" option, this is correct as DLNA clients can't authorize themselves as a certain user, so their activity is ignored.

If this isn't the case, could you send (via pastebin, dropbox, etc..) me your log file after playing something on your PS3. The log file is located at the following path on windows.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Logs\PMS Plugin Logs\com.plexapp.plugins.trakttv.log

If you aren't on windows, look at https://plexapp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200250417-Log-File-Locations for the path on your system.

Hi. No don't have those settings enabled. This was using firmware 4.53 (when I first realised ) and now 4.55. Still not working. Tried different settings, the beta and also deleted caches no change

Sorry, must of missed your previous reply somehow.

Anyway, it's very odd there is no activity logged at all, but you were saying another device does work? possibly DLNA activity is handled a bit differently in PMS with the legacy activity method.

I don't think I did any tests with the legacy activity method, so I'll have to do some more tests tomorrow and see if I can figure out what's happening.

I've tried without legacy same problem. Tired today's stable and beta. Both still don't scobble to trackt when playing through the PS3s DLNA. It works when playing through my phone, tabs or Samsung TV and DVD player

Note, the plugin defaults to the legacy method if you don't have a PlexPass membership (or you haven't signed in on the server), this could be why you aren't seeing any difference with that "Force legacy..." option?

So it works from other DLNA/UPnP devices (I'm assuming that is what you are using on your TV and DVD player)? If that's the case, it must be specific to how DLNA on the PS3 works.

Could you send me your "Plex Media Server.log" file, located at the following path after playing something on the PS3.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Logs\Plex Media Server.log

This should really help to determine why the plugin isn't picking up on the activity from the PS3.

Hmmm ok. Well through the other devices I've only used it through the Plex app. I'll also try it via DLNA and get back to you with that info and log. It all fell apart a few PS3 updates ago. Thanks for looking into it

Think I spotted the problem.

Could you give this version a try https://github.com/trakt/Plex-Trakt-Scrobbler/archive/hotfix/0.7.13.5.zip and let me know if it works? Just want to make sure this works before pushing a new release out to everyone.

Will do. Should I use any specific settings.

The parser which reads that "Plex Media Server.log" file just didn't handle the different output the PS3 client produces. It was a pretty simple fix once I identified this issue, you can actually see the very small change here 15827cb

Later today I'll have some time to release this fix properly and get it into the beta channel.

Just merged the fix into the beta branch at v0.8.0.6 (https://forums.plex.tv/index.php/topic/35626-plex-media-server-scrobbler-for-trakttv/page-63#entry581927)

Must be a new issue, send through the latest plugin log file and I'll have a look.

hmmm looks like on the official release. It will show that a show is being watched but before the show even ends (around 20min) its already been marked in trakt as watched and will no longer show the now playing in trakt.tv

That sounds pretty normal to me.

"before the show even ends (around 20min) its already been marked in trakt as watched"
Media is marked as "watched" at 80% progress, which is probably what you are seeing. This is so you can stop before the credits end and it will still get marked.

"and will no longer show the now playing in trakt.tv"
Without a log file I can only assume this is a result of the update request to trakt.tv failing (overloaded, timeout, other temporary server-side errors).

These requests aren't re-sent as the now-playing status isn't super important (compared to actually marking the item watched) and would only lead to extra load on possibly already overloaded servers (seen as the first request failed).

Oh Fe. Didn't know about the mark at 80%. That was it. Cheers
