Project Terminology - Add localization notes for essential.po #6003
Comments
@milupo great idea, that was how the anloc terms where born. A bit more work to retrofit that to the essential list. If you feel up for it we'd happily accept notes for |
Thank you, Dwayne, very fine. |
I just want to ask if there is something in preparation meanwhile for adding localization notes to essential.pot. Thanks. |
@milupo I've created the essential.pot file, didn't realise that it didn't exist. Two options:
#. Definitions of 'word'
msgid "word"
msgstr ""
The first is easier for me, but if it is too difficult for you and I can look at the second. |
@milupo do you need any help with this? |
@dwaynebailey I don't know how I can help you. How did you do it in anloc.po or in other projects? Do it the same way. My wish (and, I'm sure, also the wish of other translators) is to see localization notes that make the terms to be translated less disambiguous and more intelligible. I don't know what I could do what I would need help for. |
Hi, please add localization notes for essential.po as well. You have already done it for file anloc.po and it's very great! Localization notes enable a better translation of all words.
Thanks.
