While #890 addresses the ability to remove the log content, there may be a time when the entire log may need to be removed.

In addition to removing logs, this involves following tasks:

  1. Invalidate the commit reference: j.commit.commit = "a"*40
  2. Invalidate the compare_to link: j.commit.compare_url = "https://example.com"
