According to documentation and this repository, each test VM have one preinstalled version of Ruby, OpenJDK, Python and Node.js.

I think it will be good to include Perl with cpanm to this list.

Isn't Perl preinstalled on Debian-derivatives?

Oh, yes. But cpanm does not.

cpan is slower and need a long configuration phase. Anyway, cpanm is used on Perl VM's by default, so it will be more consistent to have it on other VM's.

You can install it via apt (cpan-minus, as far as I know). We will consider preinstalling it but I am not yet sold it is needed. This is the 1st time we hear this request in over a year in operation.
