Expanding on the abilities described in #2231 , #1742 , #2232 and #2182 -
Once all of them are implemented, we can expose a set of pre-defined hooks that could be installed in a single click through the UI and provide useful functionality:

  • Schema validation
  • Metastore registration/updates
  • Format enforcement
  • symlink.txt generation

And other reusable, common steps.
