Some of the games TripleA offers have the behaviour of having the notes display in "Select a Game" partially broken, while not for within the game.

You can find an example of this behaviour in Ancient Times (that looks like a map modification of 270BC, but it is actually a map drawn from a modified version of the base map image for another original map, that I believe was never actually made into a game, that 270BC uses as basis too, but only partially (so, 270BC and Ancient Times are more like two parallel branches, though Ancient Times takes most unit images from 270BC)). The notes within the games are all black with red writings, while if you look at them in "Select a Game" the black background is applied only in some portions. I believe 270BC had this same problem before @ron-murhammer updated it.

It is possible that this behaviour existed already in 1.8.0.9, but I would need a compatible map with this issue to see that, or downgrading it.
