Hi,

Just test the scarlett mixer, and I wonder if I haven't miss something, because once i've installed dependancies and built the program, here is what is result :

It looks like you are running an unpatched kernel. Currently this causes an empty window. I'll need to add an error message... In any case check if you can use qasmixer to access the card. See if any controls show up. You may not have the kernel module loaded correctly.

Hi, thks for the reply, but i now have this error :
~/ScarlettMixer$ ./setup.py
from: can't read /var/mail/setuptools

suggestions ?

Hi, I have the same issue, blank panels. What is the patch I need to apply to the kernel? I am running unpatched 3.13.0 (lowlatency) and the controls indeed does not show up in qasmixer (though the card is listed there and can be selected). I found this repo on forums https://github.com/x42/alsa-driver but it has last commit 2 years ago... Thanks for help!

I think I red on alsa-dev-list these changes had been integrated into
kernel version 3.19-rc3 on November last year:
