Install Guide

NOTE: this guide describe install process of NEXTSPACE starting from 0.90 release. You may find old document here.

1. Install CentOS 7, CentOS 8 or Fedora 31 using the following landmarks:
   • use "Minimal Install" in "SOFTWARE SELECTION" section;
   • do not create users during install;
2. Download .tgz archive for particular distribution:

• NextSpace-0.90-CentOS-7.tgz
• NextSpace-0.90-CentOS-8.tgz
• NextSpace-0.90-Fedora-31.tgz

3. Unpack it. CentOS 7 example: tar zxf NextSpace-0.90-CentOS_7.tgz

4. Switch to the NextSpace-0.90 directory, run installer script as root like this:

# cd NextSpace-0.90
# ./nextspace_install.sh
This script will install NEXTSPACE release  and configure system.

5. Answer to the questions of nextspace_install.sh.

6. Start Login Panel

# systemctl start loginwindow
