nvALT as a daemon?

What if a nvALT<->Simplenote syncing mechanism would be available separately? I mean, may I suggest to isolate that syncing method and to release it separately? In order for it to be launched via crond, for example?

That would make possible for people to use their own frontends for note management (like us, Vim or Emacs maniacs), leaving the synchronization issues to the approved and loved software?
