Current plugin license is BSD like not friendly for business. License is important.

For example if you ship your code with lib that uses GNU you must publish your code with GNU license.
Since every WAR file with grails application contains all plugins it may be a big problem.

I know some projects from my work that denied some beautiful libs because they was licensed under GNU.

Could we change licence to more friendly APACHE 2?

I'm not exactly an expert in licences.

So, where should I change in order for the licence to be APACHE 2?

In the end of README you put current License.
Apahe 2 project should contain full text of LICENSE in the root or project, but it's not so strict.
