Seems to be an odd condition in the Java reference implementation of ParseTreePatternMatcher I noticed while porting. In that file, there are four if statements like this:
if (mismatchedNode == null) {
mismatchedNode = ...;
}
What's odd is that prior to testing it for null, no code ever assigns it a non-null value. Is this a bug?
