Why DataTractor?

DataTractor analyses the web pages of wiki.vg and minecraft.gamepedia.com, and extract concentrated data about packets, blocks, etc. in the form of Scala source files and JSON data.

The goal is to make tuubes compatible with many different versions of Minecraft, without having to rewrite game information by hand.
