Tuya BHT-02 thermostat not working with Tuya V2.
The thermostat is appears homeassistant and in Homekit but works ridiculously. So it is not possible to use BHT-002.

That is the reason i have to use older version of Tuya (and HA), because this BHT-002 thermostat not working! It's cold already, needs to be heated and so the automations don't work either!
Im waiting for the fix... thx

i've sadly been reporting this for the last 4 months, and no reaction.
in the old integration you could set the divider/multiplier to add to the thermostat to get the correct value out of them
sadly the new tuya v2 doesn't support this, even after requesting this multiple times.

Hey Guys,

just temporary fix, using File Editor you can edit file climate.py inside folder /custom_components/tuya_v2/

Dividing number which should be obviously used for Celsius normal showing state is 2 (in this case default was 10).
I've overwrited all rows where I found occurrence 233, 276, 281, 299, 321, 334, 354, 368 and 391.
Which means that I've changed values even for Fahreheint, bold highlighted rows are for Celsius scale.

Power status still can't be read or controlled anyway, now I'm using wireless temperature sensors so I just need to control Gas Boiler Temperature.

Thanks Dykobraz, but i dont use Tuya_V2, use official Tuya.
I cant locate folder "components/tuya"
Do you know where is the Tuya folder in the home assistant folder structure?

Sorry txespirito, I tried to revive Tuya integration, but without any luck (can't load integration).
So now I have only Tuya_v2 version, but after some testing, can tell this isn't good idea to use, even after measurement correction.

As far as integration can't read status informations from thermostat device, it causes really unpredictable behavior.
I set automation for example to just set temperature on device to 24 degrees celsius and after two hours back to 22 degrees celsius, but once it switched another time it doesn't.

Winter is coming, so I'm now using just schedule in SmartHome application.

But afterwards, if Tuya won't make any updates, I will probably look for new, stable device..

I have the same problem with my MOES BHT-002 thermostat. The temperature shown is wrong and if the integration is passed through to Alexa, there is no way to change the temperature setting - it only shows POWER and LOCK.
