Naturally text fields shouldn’t have padding on the left and right because when the content expands beyond, you can see a strange white padding on the left and right. The text should bleed out to the left and right suggesting the inner text pane sliding left and right.

padding on the left and right. The text should bleed out to the left
and right suggesting the inner text pane sliding left and right. (Hopefully, you guys are getting what i'm saying)
