Once 0.9 has been out for a while, and we've picked up some users, we can figure out what else we need before a 1.0.0 release. Once 1.0.0 is out, we will be following semver. Ideally any "papercut" and "footgun" issues should be resolved before this release; we should also try to make sure that we have the interfaces nailed down hard since changing them after this point will be very difficult.
