Bug Fix ISD processing

  • Fixed bug that was preventing some precu servers ISD reports from being processed.

Known Issues

  • JAVA 13: Resource Info tab, the one that has the treetable of resource class caps, will not expand the tree in Java 13. Workaround is to use Java 8 to run SWGAide.

Windows Users

All you need is the EXE. To upgrade just replace your existing exe with this new one. For additional help on installing see the README. If you prefer you can also use the JAR in lieu of the exe
*If you are upgrading from SWGAide-NGE just delete the NGE exe and use the Unity exe going forward.

  • Note on windows the exe can throw false positives in some A/V's ... this is mainly because it's unsigned. Launch4j 3.12 is used to create the exe.

Linux/Mac Users

All you need is the JAR (unless you prefer to use Wine, then exe would work also). Java 8 is now only a minimum requirement. Has been tested with Java 13 (note exception to known issues above).

Whats New

  • Introducing CPU (cost per unit) to user inventory. A new column in the inventory tab allows you to input a CPU for your resource. There is also a Value column that auto calculates the value. The bottom of this value column will show a total value as well.
  • CPU column added to the inventory resources in Laboratory Tab. This column uses the values you set in the inventory for disaply here in the lab.
  • All Inventory import/export functions have been rewritten.
    • Notes export now includes the assignee for proper resource management.
    • Notes export now also includes a CPU column. (please re-export your notes at least once before trying to import old ones)
    • Notes import now properly handles space/recycled resources.
    • Notes import now shows progress in lower left corner.
    • CSV backup and restore rewritten to include CPU column and be more efficient.
  • Introducing Inventory filters in the Lab. a new dropdown at the bottom of the window allows you to filter inventory by character. Note that if ALL is selected it combines all inventory totals and averages CPU.
  • Introducing Total units and Potential Cost summary in the Test Bench. The Potential cost takes into account CPU values you have set and then used in the test bench.
  • More refinements to experiment filters in the Lab

  • Fixed issue with UTF8 characters not displaying correctly.
  • Corrected warning colors on harvester panel for all themes.

Whats New

Tons of refactoring and replacing older code with more modern methods. No new "features" per-sae in this release however a new major version number due to the fact the project no longer has a hard requirement for Java 8. It's now only a minimum, SWGAide now works on any Java version 8 or higher. I have tested on Java 13 and it runs quite nice. The project has been completely converted to maven so needed libraries are now bundled in the exe/jar for compatibility.

Bugs

  • Fixed bug with the new experiment filters in the lab borking out after several consecutive schematic selections.
  • More of a housekeeping thing than a bug but fixed an issue with the app saving any schematic the user has viewed to the DAT file rather than just ones the user has added custom notes too.
  • added null check in resource class use tab in case tab is not built yet
  • Audio alerts completely rewritten to use Java's builtin audio system rather than the long depreciated sound applet stuff
  • Fix bug with guards not refreshing when user changed to a toon on a different galaxy/server

Whats New

Themes are whats new

  • Updated look and feel icons
  • Introduced Themes! Yes we now have color themes to pick from.
    • The default light theme (with updated look/icons)
    • An SWG theme based on destroyer game pallete
    • A Midnight dark theme that's purely dark.
  • Add a filter panel to the Laboratory Tab for experiment groups. If a selected schematic is HQ and has more then one group, this filter panel will be shown so you can deselect groups if you wish.
  • Asteroids are back in the test bench/lab area. To utiltize them you must add as SPace/Recycled to your inventory and select the appropriate asteroid. Once in inventory you can then play with them in the lab for schematics that call for them.
  • Various other tweaks for performance improvements. With new libraries being used for look and feel have gotten rid of many gui label methods that used html hacks for styling. More to come on that in the future as the new libraries are 42x faster at drawing labels than an html render on a simple colored label for example.

Bugs

  • Fixed bug with find method in the Draft Tab
  • Fixed issue with non-crafter schems not showing up in the Draft Tab tree selection, e.g. Entertainers
