spark status in toolbar in Jupyter Lab broken for multiple notebooks #7568

if you have 2 or more notebooks with spark connections, and you switch back and forth, the spark status in the toolbar only shows for one of them.

to reproduce, start jupyter lab, open SparkUI.ipynb and Flint.ipynb, start a spark session in both notebooks, and then click the tab to switch back and forth between the notebooks.
