Serious problem when exporting Typora projects on macOS

When I try to export a Typora project on macOS as a pdf, it gets scaled up weirdly, as one can see in the following screenshots:
This is the version how I see it in the Typora editor:

and this is how it looks when I export it:

I really love Typora and don't want to switch just because of this detail, so I hope someone can help me with this or fix it if this is a general problem.
