Optimism Grant: Completing Grant #2

@Hodlatoor The time limit for this bounty is on 4/21/2023 |
Only I should set priority levels for these types of initiatives for the foreseeable future. In my experience if a bounty is longer than a week its a sign that it should be broken up into more clear bounties. Please outline what you think needs to be worked on; realistically on the |

reviewing them
then need to edit and weave them together to a final grant.

What's the blocker? |
|
Can you reference the issue ID for 1. ? @sergfeldman can you provide an update on the "feedback/addition" status? |
@pavlovcik @sergfeldman and I are on ubiquity/.github#30 |
@pavlovcik The issue id is ubiquity/.github#30 I will include my proposal into the grant application and complete the review. |
It looks like @Hodlatoor is blocked waiting for you. How long do you need for the next deliverable? @Hodlatoor is there some other task you can push forward on while we wait for @sergfeldman's deliverable? |
I'm looking at some of what other grants submitted.
would be great if we can get the video included in the grant.
once serg adds or confirms g2g the other open ends on the OP grant will be
fast for me to close.
as far as you're concerned all that is there is g2g right?

You shouldn't shorthand any communications on here because not everybody is from the same country or even have English as their primary language on our team. I'm assuming you mean "good to go" I haven't reviewed in detail but you know better than me if it's good to go. Perhaps you could help with @sergfeldman other task about reaching out to M12 fund and GitHub for the developer grants. |
@pavlovcik I have added my suggestion to several relevant points in the grant application. I presumed it is better to submit a grant application that meets the Optimism needs as much as possible, so I tried to understand the Optimism ecosystem more deeply. |
I think it's best to iterate upon submissions. It's time to execute and iterate vs try and perfect it from the start. From what I've seen, the grants usually take some back-and-forth. Let's submit something that's "80% of the way there" As long as @Hodlatoor @sergfeldman @Draeieg and myself all approve of the draft it's probably pretty good. If you agree, assuming @Hodlatoor is working the weekend again, please complete your deliverable before the weekend. If not, then I guess you have until Monday 😄 |
@sergfeldman do you think we are missing anything major in the current grant? |
@Hodlatoor If we are talking about "80% of the way there", then I think we are not missing anything major in the current grant application. The points that would be good to re-check:
