The BCDAMS DMWG draws its members from the primary stakeholder departments for descriptive metadata: Metadata & Digitization Services (MDS) and Special Collections (SC). The DMWG will analyze current descriptive practice in the University of Houston Digital Library (UHDL) and develop a Metadata Application Profile for the BCDAMS Project, building on the foundation established by the UHDL Metadata Dictionary and aligning closely with the DPLA MAP.

The BCDAMS RMWG draws its members from the primary stakeholder departments for rights metadata: Special Collections (SC) and Metadata & Digitization Services (MDS). The DMWG will analyze current rights statement practice in the University of Houston Digital Library (UHDL), determine how to best apply RightsStatements.org statements to UHDL data, and contribute their findings to the development of a Metadata Application Profile for the BCDAMS Project.
